Theory of Knowledge

This academic year we are inviting various experts to present Areas of Knowledge (AOK) in TOK (Theory of Knowledge) to our Diploma Programme students. Our first expert was Mr. Brendan Henderson, who presented the AOK of History in an innovative way to Year 13. Students were given 10 minutes to identify the mystery topic Mr. Henderson exhibited and then were asked to research, as well as present, the identified topic. While each group was presenting, Mr. Henderson debated and challenged their knowledge to explore and establish TOK terminology. This collaborative effort not only shows the true nature of the interdisciplinary approach of TOK, but also makes knowledge and learning a wholesome experience for students.
